favor of god sign

Favor of God Ministries is an indigenous organization that arose in 2005 in response to God's heart for northern Uganda during the most horrific war in African history. Our vision is to see the Kingdom of God established and sustained in all institutions of the darkest places on Earth. In religion, family, education, government, media, business, and the arts, God is bringing revival to all levels of society in northern Uganda as desperate people see the favor of the living God.

Favor of God's mission is to serve and train indigenous leaders of all ages to transform their societies with the principles and power of the Gospel. We are indigenous leaders multiplying leaders on the front lines, and we are a support network throughout the U.S. and Australia holding the ropes so that all whom God calls can go to hell and back to "rescue those being led away to death." Together we can partner with what God is doing in East Africa by raising awareness, rallying people to pray, letting the world know the powerful works of God, building a team to share the vision, and financially supporting and raising support for the various projects of Favor of God.

God has strategically placed Favor of God Ministries in order to act as a "birthing room" for many of His plans and purposes in northern Uganda. As an inter-denominational group of Christian ministries with a passion for the unity of the Body of Christ, FOGM has been used to unite the leaders of many churches together to bring transformational revival to all areas of life – spiritual, physical, social, emotional, economic, academic, and moral. Revival isn't finished if it's not complete. It takes the totality of our lives, and the unity of the commissioned church, to prepare revival. Therefore, our motto is "All of us serving to see the totality of God's kingdom transforming the totality of nations." Revival must touch every aspect of society to last. If any area of life is transformed and the others are ignored, the impact will be minimal and the change will probably be a temporary experience.

In Esther, the Persian king Xerxes was so enthralled with her that he offered to give her up to half his kingdom. Herod offered the same to the daughter of Herodius. But God makes no such limit with His church. The favor of God knows no limit. He has already given Himself, and He will continue to freely give all things.

We aren't a ministry that seeks to just do good things and make a difference. We seek God.

Long-Term Missionary

Seth Adkins

Seth first “tasted” TTR when he heard the testimony of Phil Byars, Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church in Elkhart, IN, during a small home meeting. After hearing how the Lord was working in the communities of Indiana, he was “sold.” From that point on, Seth attended every meeting he could and was part of revive FLORIDA in both Sarasota and Manatee County. As Senior Pastor at Restoration Fellowship of Bradenton, Seth has always loved outreach and seeing people transformed by the love of Jesus. TTR gave him the tools to reach people better and more effectively. He loves the vision of this ministry and feels alive doing the very thing he knows he was born to do. Seth’s life focus has changed since the first weeks of revive FLORIDA. He has laid down his job as Senior Pastor and has committed himself and his gifts fully to the Harvest.

Seth received ministry education through the School of Leaders from Cornerstone Church and Ministries International. His work in ministry has included developing youth and college ministries, leading small groups, training related to hearing God and outreach, including multiple youth camp events. In 2010, Seth was led to plant the church in Bradenton. He lives there now with his wife, Angela, and their 6 children. Seth also has training in information technology and networking.

One of ten siblings, Seth enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, kayaking and hiking. He once caught a 4-foot shark while in a kayak! Seth loves to cook as well as try new foods. He plays guitar, piano, sings and appreciates music in general. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his family. If you meet Seth, be sure to ask him how he met Angela…you’ll enjoy a great story that includes her trying to hijack his car!

Long-Term Missionary

Ryan Schrag

An Indiana native, Ryan heard about revive INDIANA and how the Lord was moving in his hometown of Goshen from a friend. Now a resident of the Sunshine State, Ryan and his family sensed the Lord wanted them to go see things for themselves. They headed north from their home in Sarasota, not knowing the impact this trip would have on an entirely different state. After experiencing revive INDIANA, Ryan invited TTR to come to Sarasota and became the instigator for revive FLORIDA. One of his favorite things about TTR is seeing people break through the barriers of fear that have kept them bound, and go share their faith. There’s nothing quite like seeing the joy and excitement in someone as they share their testimonies. Throughout the year of preparation for revive FLORIDA, Ryan felt the Lord leading him to further involvement with TTR. That calling was confirmed during the outreach weeks in Sarasota. Ryan will Chair the ongoing work of revive FLORIDA, giving leadership to the local team and working with pastors and church leaders across the state. TTR has challenged Ryan to “count the cost”, and he has obeyed because the Lord is worthy of it all!

Before joining the TTR team, Ryan owned and operated a lawn care business for nearly 20 years. He and his wife Kim have two daughters, Alyssa and Amber. They love watching the girls play sports, and Ryan enjoys working with them in whatever sport they are playing at the time. Ryan also enjoys fishing, being out on the water, playing guitar and singing. He's a pretty competitive guy and holds the honor of TTR’s 2016 1st place finisher in the college basketball March Madness brackets.

manatee regligous services

MRS has been in the community since 1984. Its function is to screen those seeking assistance from churches in Manatee County, exposing scams, while connecting those who are in crisis with a church that can assist both financially and spiritually. MRS works with over two hundred churches around Manatee County, and refers clients to dozens of other agencies and programs around the community.

In 2016, MRS took 347 requests for rent, electric bills, and water bills. This represented a total of 933 lives (individuals & families) touched last year. Churches from all across Manatee County mobilized to help those in need.

Manatee Religious Services takes no State or Federal funding, but is kept operational by donations from churches, businesses, and individuals. MRS could not do its work without this support.
